Mean Global Temperature Has Fallen Since 1998

The recent flat-to-declining temperatures since 1997, or since the El Ninõ event in 1998, are in direct contradiction to the global warmist theory. The IPCC models predict a rapid exponential rise in temperature, in line with C02, which is not occurring.

‘The warmaholics’ fantasy’

So apparently it’s no longer global warming, but ‘Australian warming’. If you lower the bar that much of course you’re going to ‘win’ the debate. A warmer winter in Australia proves nothing, particularly when the northern hemisphere is suffering from colder than normal weather patterns.

On Peter Garrett’s logic, this must be DEFINITIVE PROOF of a new ice age:

‘Freezing temperatures, massive snowfalls wreak havoc around the world’

Andrew Neal: “Since you can’t get the summer or the winter right in your forecasts, why should we give any credence to your forecast to what the temperature will be in 2050 or 2020, which is what you do?”

Richard S. Courtney, UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change expert reviewer and British-based climate and atmospheric science consultant snorted on December 16:

“GLOBAL warming has stopped. There has been no statistically significant rise in [mean global temperature or MGT] since 1995 and MGT has fallen since 1998. Nobody can know if the recent halt to global warming is temporary, permanent, or the start of a new warming or cooling phase. But it is certain that anybody who proclaims that “global warming is accelerating” is a liar, a fool, or both.”
